I have always had a fascination with the human psyche and heart, and have known that being a psychologist would be my life’s work. In addition to my formal training, I have traveled broadly, and have a deep appreciation of many cultures. These experiences have enhanced my understanding of the psyche and the human spirit and how it manifests uniquely in each of us. These experiences have also confirmed my belief that we are naturally inclined toward healing, and that we are far more than the set of problems or issues that we have identified as our source of suffering.

I earned my B.A. in psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and later attended the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I earned an M.A. in Integral Counseling Psychology and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. I bring decades of experience to my work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
